TradeStart

The Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce & Industry (NTCCI) is responsible for delivering the TradeStart program in the Northern Territory. The program is funded by the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade) and is aimed at assisting new and emerging exporters export on a sustainable basis.

Trade Start is concerned with delivering Austrade's export assistance services to new and potential exporters in regional and rural Australia. The program is an integral part of Austrade's New Exporter Development program.

TradeStart provides companies with the advantage of working with a personal export manager to guide them to success in marketing and exporting their products/ services overseas.

• Evaluation of applicants potential for TradeStart program based on their commitment to export, their production capability, financial position and export competitiveness.
• Development of company profiles in conjunction with clients.
• Initiate market research to determine suitable export markets.
• Develop export marketing strategies and advise on appropriate overseas promotional strategies.
• Provide advice on various aspects of international finance, insurance, customs & freight forwarding issues.
• Prepare Clients for overseas visits, including access to FREE business matching of 5 appointments in your chosen market.
